As some of you in the adoption community are aware the U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou is closed due to a "chemical incidence". The families that are in Guangzhou this week have not been able to have their consulate appointments and their leaving to go home is delayed. We have been told that there is a good chance it will affect our consulate appointment which is currently scheduled for next Wednesday and we are suppose to fly home on Thursday.
Please pray the situation is resolved and they get caught up with rescheduling every ones appointments quickly.
I had heard about the closing and decided I didn't want to worry you about it without knowing more information. We're praying that you will be able to leave on time!
